A Christmas party with all the trimmings!
Who doesn’t love a Christmas party? Here at Orchid Events, we certainly love planning them!
The magical time of Christmas is the perfect opportunity to throw an over the top Christmas party, for all your friends and family to enjoy. This particular Christmas Party was thrown in a house, and maintained that warm, cosy feel of Christmas all whilst being slightly extravagant.
To make sure we incorporated the fun of the Christmas period into the day, innovative signs were created to label some of the areas of the house, such as the ‘White Witch’s Castle’, the ‘Caldron Pool Lobby’ and the ‘River Shribble: principle hallway’. This was a great way for both the kids and adults to get involved in the fun of the day.
As fireplaces are characteristic of a wintery Christmas, we ensured they were not missed in the decorating process. Adorned with white flowers and greenery, and twinkling with fairy lights, they brought the snow topped feel of a Christmas tree, indoors.
The dining room housed a long, lavishly set, table. The room was decorated with Christmas trees and illuminated white branches, once again incorporating a snowy winter feel.
The table settings were joined by centrepiece wreaths, which were composed of all types of white flowers and greenery, a little added sparkle! Name cards were meticulously calligraphed in red ink, and sat by the traditional Christmas crackers.
To ensure all the magic wasn’t lost when leaving the dining room, we placed ornate decorations around the house. These were lit up by contemporary mirrors trimmed with light bulbs, however the decoration itself was more old-fashioned and luxurious.
This particular decoration was comprised of an open silver dish that emulated the feel of an open shell, and filled to the brim with gems and jewels, pearl necklaces and tiaras, and sparkling snowflakes.
This Christmas party was truly a magical affair at every turn, and if you would like to plan something similar please do not hesitate to contact our friendly event planners today.
