With summer pretty much here, even if the weather isn’t playing ball, we are day dreaming of rustic English country weddings and have created this inspirational mood board above to show you what we love and what’s hot on Pinterest right now.

We love English country weddings due to their magical feel, like a scene straight out of a fairytale. This mood board contains so many ideas we love. Flowers are a huge part of creating the rustic English country wedding, and there are so many flowers to choose from and ways to present them that we don’t even know where to get started! Flowers are easily incorporated into any part of the wedding ceremony or the reception; you just need to get creative and this mood board is full of creative ideas. We love the floral arrangement hanging above the entrance to the church, which adds to the already beautiful entrance and shows that small details can turn something from pretty to beautiful in the simplest way. We are also in love with the floral frame which could be used for photographs or as part of the stage for when the couple are saying their vows; both would be unique ideas incorporating beautiful floral arrangements into the day.

Moving onto the cake! The cake is an important part of the wedding reception and should take centre stage (after the couple, of course!). We love these open and undecorated cakes, they add a perfect rustic but also pretty feeling to the festivities. Plus they look so good, your guests will be excited to dive right in! They are great way of having a minimalistic cake but also having the ‘WOW’ factor.

We also love the idea of having a tea and coffee station throughout the reception (as we all know, us Brits are famous for our love of tea!).
