Apart from being recognised for all the hard work and dedication we put into our event planning and production by those who nominated us (thank you!), being recognised by The Luxury Travel Awards is a monumental achievement.

A little more about the bespoke wedding company award: The Luxury Travel Guide awards are the pinnacle when it comes to recognising and celebrating excellence across all sectors of the high-end travel and tourism industry. The regions extend to Europe, the Americas, Asia & Australasia, and Africa & Middle East. The process is twofold; open nominations, followed by The Luxury Travel Guide’s vote made by their knowledgeable team of in-house professionals and celebrity judges.

The weddings category is a strong one. Our industry in both London and Israel is flourishing, with a growing number of truly talented professionals pushing the creative boundaries. It can be hard for clients to know where to start their search. Word of mouth recommendations, fundamental to our business, demonstrate the trust and confidence we have built up over the years.

We wear many hats at Orchid events (– all of them noteworthy!), but planning magnificent weddings is our passion. Facilitating the first major project of emotionally invested couples, is the beating heart of a luxury wedding planner.

An award-winning musician and businesswoman, winning Inspirational Woman of The Year  and being one of just 7 women nominated in the UK for Business Woman of The Year (among many others). Under her leadership, the company has grown from a small operation into applauded business, attracting both press and TV appearances.

With a wealth of experience under Sarah’s belt, Orchid Events is the go-to company for a number of different celebrations and ceremonies. Events ranging from the intimate to those drawing 50,000 guests.

As a result, over the course of 15 years, Orchid Events has become recognised as the leading London wedding planners with an unparalleled breadth of experience. Our events have taken our couples all over the globe, tying the knot against a range of glittering backdrops. From caves in the Judean desert; moonlit beaches; ancient Italian olive groves and French chateaux’s to name but a few.

Jewish, Asian or mixed faith weddings (and anything in-between), all require the skill of a wedding planner who can achieve the ultimate party within the various frameworks, dreams and budgets. Ultimately, the unique challenge of luxury wedding planners is expertly managing the many threads that go towards making memories that will last a lifetime.

Our largest Asian wedding of 2017 lasted 4 days, included 4 venues and round-the-clock management of 1000 guests. Working across four different venues, we managed the entire process from guest list and transportation, to keeping on top of a catalogue of suppliers, musicians and caterers. The scope of this magical wedding is a perfect example of our dexterity and passion.

Producing an incomparable variety of bespoke weddings, the common thread is always the luxury element and the personal touch. We have a unique approach for developing outstanding concepts. Accurately translating the smallest of details into wickedly creative, perfectly executed, seamless productions.

The soul of Orchid comes from Music by Arrangement which I set up in 2003. Fuelled by my frustration on how I was treated by agents and managers working as a pianist, I was determined to set up an agency which treated artists fairly, and made sure they were looked after. Many of the musicians at MBA, handpicked for their professionalism and talent have grown to be my extended family. The connection between us is so strong – I feel truly blessed”
